BEAUTY BETWEEN CRACKS

Beauty Between Cracks; exploring Elswick through photography and cyanotype

Beauty Between Cracks sought to find beauty in unlikely places, examine our relationship to urban spaces, and question how humans, cities, and nature can positively coexist.

We worked with Newcastle College ESOL students, many of whom had experience of displacement. We discussed the importance of accessing and appreciating nature for our health and wellbeing, and sought to demonstrate how if you look closely, it really is all around us.
